Questions in Jaguar headliners
- Your website offers a great explanation of how-to but my question is before re-covering, what do I need to do to prep the headliner board before re-installing the new material? thanks
(153 views) - Your pictorial on removing the headliner from a 98 Jag is fantastic! I have a 2001 XJ8 with a sag in the back.
Will the 98 directions apply to my 01?
If the covering is in good shape, why can't it be re-adhesived to the existing board? Why does a new covering need to be used?
'Appreciate any insight you can share.
You have an excellent site!
(404 views) - I have a sagging board in my 1985 XJ6 Jaguar. Should I replace the board with the headliner, or just try to glue the board to the roof? I do not know if the boards are glued to the roofs or not?
(426 views) - have a 1985 Jaguar xj12 with a sagging headliner, it seems like the board is sagging, but it's not the whole board, just the part behind the sunroof, is it supposed to be like this? I didn't know if maybe it was there so the sunroof could slide back.
