Is $500.00 a good price for replacing the headliner and headliner boards in a 2002 Jaguar?

Hello all, I have an xtype 2002 with 94K and a couple weeks ago I noticed the cloth on the roof is sagging a little, it started a couple weeks ago and its getting worse, the cloth is in good shape I think it just needs to be glued back, any suggestions on how to fix this or what kind of glue to use?

How do you remove the sunroof and recover the material on it as well as the headliner in a 1998 Jaguar XJ8L? Is it something for the 'average ability' person to undertake? If you are supplied the interior color code, will the headliner match the sunroof material if it is not replaced? thanks, Jim-Memphis TN

Do you by any chance provide small sample of the colors so it can be determined if the color is a close match for my 1994 xj-6 with doeskin headliner ?

Your website offers a great explanation of how-to but my question is before re-covering, what do I need to do to prep the headliner board before re-installing the new material? thanks

Your pictorial on removing the headliner from a 98 Jag is fantastic! I have a 2001 XJ8 with a sag in the back. Will the 98 directions apply to my 01? If the covering is in good shape, why can't it be re-adhesived to the existing board? Why does a new covering need to be used? 'Appreciate any insight you can share. You have an excellent site!

I have a sagging board in my 1985 XJ6 Jaguar. Should I replace the board with the headliner, or just try to glue the board to the roof? I do not know if the boards are glued to the roofs or not?

have a 1985 Jaguar xj12 with a sagging headliner, it seems like the board is sagging, but it's not the whole board, just the part behind the sunroof, is it supposed to be like this? I didn't know if maybe it was there so the sunroof could slide back.
