Sagging headliners
ID #1079
Actually it is not sagging, but it has a tear going down the rear passenger window area. I think I will attempt replacing the headliner in my 72 Monte Carlo. The roof area looks simple enough, but what about the 2 post going down along the rear window, any tips on how, also what about ordering, do I include those measuments? Help...During business hours, you can respond to my work email: gene_AT_americangraphicsmi.com Thx-Gene
The headliner in the 72 Monte Carlo is a bowstyle (sewn in) headlner. The panels at the rear of the car are made longer than the rest of the panels, (the post going down the rear); once the new headliner is made, these are part of it. A new headliner will fix the problem at the rear as well as replace the whole headliner.
We custom make bowstyle headliners for the older classic cars.
