Jaguar headliners
ID #1011
I have a sagging board in my 1985 XJ6 Jaguar. Should I replace the board with the headliner, or just try to glue the board to the roof? I do not know if the boards are glued to the roofs or not?
A jaguar headliner board is just like any other vehicle headliner...it has a hard headliner board with 1/8 or1/4 inch foambacked headliner cloth on it. It is replaced like any other vehicle headliner; you replace the material instead of buying a whole new board and all. Even though it's a foriegn made car; the same basic proceedure is used to replace the headliner that is used with the BMW.
We have a tutorial on the BMW at this link. You can ge the basics by viewing this online tutorial.
