Headliner Material

Does the headliner kit come with new foam? The previous owner tried to glue the headliner back in place and used a glue that was not compatible with the foam and caused the foam to deteriorate.

Headliner material comes with 1/4 inch foam already glued to the cloth; it is a foam/material combination. The foam on the headliner in your vehicle had probably already deterioated or was starting too when it was reglued by the previous owner; it just did what it was going to anyway -- fell down. The old headliner cloth needs to be replaced instead of glued back up if you have the time and $$ to invest in it.
