Auto headliner adhesive
What is the best type of glue to use on a headliner?
The best type; of course is adhesive that is made for installing headliners in vehicles. There are 2 types headliner adhesive; aerosol and liquid type. The liquid type of adhesive can be sprayed through a paint gun and it works great, we call it gorilla snot. It will glue a car to a light pole.
The aerosol adhesive, like we sell on our site; works great too. It's designed to hold up headliners in high temperature conditions. That is the kind of adhesive that should be used on auto headliners. The heat can get to over 200 degrees in a closed up car or truck, if you live in one of the hotter states. The 3M 76 or Stickit trim adhesive will hold a headliner permanently.
