WLS Headliners auto headliner questions and answers. - I have a '98 Nissan Frontier standard 2dr pickup truck. The liner has started drooping over the passenger and driver seats (still holding its own in the middle). I'm assuming this means the cloth has separated from the foam? Is the easiest method of fixing this to pull the whole backer out of the truck, strip it clean and replace the foam&liner? What about vinyl Could you tell me how best to remove the liner, which one of your kits is the right one (Standard Cab Truck Headliner Kit?) to replace it, and if you have something besides cloth that would work?

Yes the best method for replacing the headliner is to remove it from the truck, clean it, replace the headliner material. The plugs that you see shouldn't be very hard to remove, pry them up and out, but don't break them. Vinyl headliner would be fine (if it is foambacked vinyl headliner), but it's a little harder to work with (vinyl doesn't follow contours as good as cloth). The cloth headliner is much more forgiving than vinyl, and yes the standard cab truck kit will work for the standard cab Nissan Frontier.
