Headliner Boards

when i peeled the old headliner material off of the fiberglass board on my 1989 cadillac ALL of the plastic film over the fiberglass board tore off what do i use to replace it?Or will the new fabric adhesive stick to the fiberglass?

The nature of this makes it impossible to be replaced - so you have one option; put the headliner material on over the exposed fiberglass. It will go on good and it will hold, but it will be a little lumpy, if you don't mind a little bit lumpy, everything should be all right. I believe it would be wise to use a little extra glue on the headliner board due to the loose fiberglass.
