Is there anywhere on the vehicle that will tell me the exact color of the headliner? I have a 97 Dodge Dakota Club Cab and wish to purchase a headliner kit.

I don't think the headliner color has a number - it's part of the interior scheme and therefore the color number would most likely represent the interior trim code. The best method for selecting a color is matching it - it could be a challenge on the computer screen, but most of our customers are happy with the color they select. We could help you with color matching if you call our 888 number.

My 1987 Buick Regal has a rear molding piece at the top of the rear windshield that won't come off after taking out the screws and gently prying it. It slides back and forth a little but won't come off. What's the trick here?

These type of GM cars has a clip like the one below - they are V shaped and fit into a slot that is a little narrower than the 2 wings on the clip. Hence making it very hard to pry them out without breaking them. If you have the rear trim that attaches in the center with a small plastic piece with a single screw in it - you can remove the small trim piece and slide the trim off the clips. If it is a solid piece along the rear glass, you may wind up breaking one of them, or even 2. But as long as you have one for the center, with the 2 screws on the end, you should be fine. We carry this type of clip, you can find it at this link: 80-89 GM interior trim clip - it will fit all GM model cars with this type of clip from 1980 through 1989.

how do you compute the yardage for material? For example, i wish to order some camo fabric and i need a piece 52x84 inches minimum.

The headliner material, standard or camoflauge comes in 60 inch widths. So you would need 84 inches of material. This would leave approximately 4 inches of overhang on each side, but it can be trimmed with scissors. 84 inches of material equals 2.33 yards, so you would either need 21/2 or 3 yards of material.

How do I remove the headliner trim on my 99 Ford Ranger regular cab. There are no screws holding it on.

One thing is for sure, there is something holding the trim up on your Ford Ranger. If you don't see any screws, then it's a sure bet there are metal clips on the backside holding the trim in place. Firmly pull down on the trim and it should pop off. The standard cab truck headliner kit will work for the regular cab Ford Ranger.
