Installing an arm rest cover on a 2004 GMC truck with leather bucket seats. The arm rests of the Chevrolet and GMC trucks with leather bucket seats have a tendancy to rip and tear with age.
We have come up with a unique way to resolve that problem. Arm rest "gloves" or "skins" are a quick and easy way to repair the arm rests on your Chevy or GMC truck without spending a lot of money, and they are also every easy to install. Once they are installed, they look like the original arm rest.
The arm rest skins can be seen by following this link.

installing arm rest skin This picture is showing the installation of the arm rest skin over the old arm rest of the GMC truck. The vinyl stretches just enough to allow the skin to slide over the arm rest and then slip over the back side, you can't even tell it's a skin after it's installed. Once installed, the arm rest skin fits like the original.
after installing the arm rest skin Once the arm rest skin is installed, it looks like the original cover that came on the truck. What makes these arm rest skins unique is that they can be installed in the truck; without taking anything off the seat. They slide right over the old one like a glove and slip over the backside of the arm rest.
